Tonight I had the pleasure of meeting a local 11 year old that had a Whipple recently and had to have his entire Pancreas removed due to chronic Pancreatitis. His recovery is beyond successful. It is crazy to think that a kid so young has to endure this lifestyle.
Yes, we compared scars! My first scan is tomorrow and this for sure lifted my spirits !
