Unfortunate News

Today I had a call from a close Whippled friend who shared the same diagnosis that I had – (IPMN). He has been a rock to me during this entire process with advice and encouragement of what to expect. His recovery was an inspiration to me and gave me hope for the future. Today he informed me that his latest scan showed that the IPMN had returned and that he would have to have the rest of his pancreas removed in January. I must admit the news threw me off a bit and made me wonder when the other shoe may drop for me.
