I have always wanted to be the New York City “Tourist Guy” and see the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building and Central Park. Iconic NYC sites that you always see in the movies. Our family booked a trip to see these things and hopefully finally be able to mark some items off my list. A week before the scheduled trip we decided that maybe a crowded city was not the best idea with the news of a potential virus spreading there. So Plan B – Cardinal Spring Training. Since I was a kid I have always wanted to go to Spring Training. I did not grow up rich, so I always thought you had to be really well off to plan a trip to watch baseball. So we rerouted our plans and reserved a flight for Jupiter, Florida. The night before we left, Major League Baseball shut down Spring Training. After arriving in Florida we decided to still see Roger Dean Stadium to say we have been there. So I guess I almost was able to cross something off the list. Ohh well, maybe next year!
